To say that Ethan and Chloe have been through hell is probably the biggest understatement there is. Finding out that Brandon, Ethan’s half-brother is the person who almost destroyed any future between them, Ethan is now obsessed with stopping him in any way possible. He refuses to allow Brandon to become a future Congressman and hurt Chloe even more. But in doing so, he almost destroys his own relationship with Chloe. Chloe has healed from her past but she knows that Ethan is keeping secrets from her, trying to protect her. When she realizes that path that he is about to go down to protect her, she will do whatever she can to make him see reason.

I have loved this series from the beginning and have been anxiously awaiting this book. These two have been through so much. Chloe has such a tortured past and yet is so brave and was willing to take a chance on love. On giving Ethan the largest piece of her and loving him. Ethan fell hard for Chloe and now will do anything and everything in his power to protect her. He is sexy and completely devoted to Chloe. Ethan is a swoon worthy character and his love for Chloe is so wonderful to read. Sigh. Every book has added another layer to their relationship. They could have easily given up and gone their separate way but they are so in love, so enraptured with one another, they fight to be whole, to be together. This is such a great installment to the series and I am just dying to read the next book.
