Five years ago today, I decided to start my own blog page and connect with fellow book lovers and I have been so blessed that this has opened so many doors for me. It’s helped me be a little more vocal on the books that I love and talk to others who do to.
I’ve been able to meet so many authors and read and review so many ARCs. It is an exhilarating feeling when publishers like Harper Collins and St. Martin’s Press reach out to me to be part of blog tours. I’ve gotten to meet some of my unicorn authors like Nora Roberts, Jennifer Armentrout, Darynda Jones and Sherrilynn Kenyon, Julie Kagawa and talk books. I’ve gotten to meet some wonderful ladies that I am blessed to call friends like Cathryn Fox and Jan Meredith.
I’m also working as an intern with Entangled Publishing which has been a dream come true and I’m learning so much about writing, and editing. It’s something I never thought I would have the opportunity to do and have been so lucky to be learning from this publisher.
I even started NaNo WriMo this month and feel more confident in what I write than I ever have before. Thank you, my fellow readers and authors for making this an amazing five years. Here’s to many, many more.
