If you’ve looked at my blog, you’ll see that I have a huge love for Lani Lynn Vale books, so I was excited to get a brand new series with characters that have been in the background but whose back stories have been intriguing. If anyone has not dived it to LLV’s world, this is actually a good place to start because we don’t have as many characters from the other books that require an explanation as to why they are being mentioned or in a certain scene. I’d highly recommend it for newbies and long time fans of the author’s books.

Lynn is the epitome of dirty, sexy, silver haired alpha male and I am in love! I honestly think that author has written her dirtiest bad boy ever and I am here for it. Every page with him in it is deliciously dark and if it is possible to fall in to instant lust with a character, he’s it for me. Older than our heroine Six, he is also Mayor who rides a motorcycle and takes the law into his hand to keep his town safe. Can you say swoon? I knew you could.

Six is a sarcastic, snarky female that says what’s on her mind, who doesn’t take anyone’s crap and gives Lynn a ride for his money. The banter between them is hilarious, and the chemistry is off the charts hot. She is also insecure after the hell her father has put her thru but Lynn is more than ready to fight for what he wants most and it’s her.

I devoured this book in a day. I loved every page. I love the vigilante aspect of the story and a new group of bad ass alphas with dark back stories and finding their lady love? Sign me up ASAP. 4.5 Deliciously Dark Stars.
